Children's Choir 1
Students (ages 5-8) will learn basic music literacy through singing, movement, dance, and play.
Students will learn to read basic rhythms and melodies, using rhythm instruments and singing.
We will learn a variety of songs, hymns, patriotic songs, and music from other cultures. ​

Through singing in unison, rounds, and two parts, students will be preparing for a lifetime of enjoyment of making music, as well as for future graduation into Children's Choir 2!

Children's Choir 2
The next level in student's progression through their musical choir education, students (ages 8-11) will grow their basic music literacy through singing, movement, and choreographed movement.
Along with learning to hear basic rhythms and melodies, and how to use rhythm instruments and their vocal abilities, students will also gain literacy in reading sheet music.
More than Children's Choir 1, Children's Choir 2 will prepare students for graduating into SonShine's primary Youth Choir!
