Theater Cadets
Instructor: Harmoni Pliego
Theater Cadets is going to be a class for learning the basics of the stage, and stage presence. We will learn ways of speaking, acting, and learning to move with purpose, in character, on stage, whether choreographed or spontaneous.

The class will practice improv skills, and will learn short plays, one-acts, and skits. The cadets will be preparing a short play in the spring semester and will work on skits and possibly several vignettes during the fall semester.
There will likely be a costume fee each semester depending on which part your student is cast in. The content of the acts will always be edifying, and many will focus on gospel proclamation. Acting can be a wonderful opportunity to communicate Truth to a hurting, lost world. Students will experience this first hand in Intro to Theater.
No previous acting experience is required to participate.
