The ideal piano student for Mrs. Dys would be the more advanced student who is ready to

transition from method books to a more challenging classical repertoire. Instruction will include technical exercises and music theory in a 45 minute lesson.  The repertoire will include piano pieces from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic periods.  Additionally, Mrs. Dys will work with the student to choose music of interest to them that is more modern.  For example, Ragtime, Jazz, Pop, Hymns, Worship, Christmas, Broadway, Etc.  Also, if interested Mrs. Dys can work with her students to learn the skills of accompanying vocalists and choirs.
